DISHWASHER
There are many different industrial dishwashers. It can be difficult to figure out why you should choose one over the other. Some machines are very compact and only intended for washing glass while the hood dishwasher ensures you good ergonomics.
For the really big places, we also have the tunnel dishwasher, where the dishes almost do themselves. When the tray is inserted on one side of the machine, remove the clean dishes from the other side.
No matter what type of machine you need, we are sure to have the one you need. We are one of the largest suppliers of new industrial washing machines and used industrial dishwashers in Denmark.
We have budget machines for the easy need. Machines that we call VALUE machines, where we believe you get significantly the most for the price (also in relation to our competitors). We also have a deluxe series where you get dishwashers which are among the best on the market - fully on par with Hobart, Zanussi / Electrolux and other good brands. Our best brand is Fagor, which we also use in our own rental department at www.cateringudlejning.dk because they are reliable, give a very good washing result and are very easy to operate. Whether it's an Electrolux industrial dishwasher, Zanussi industrial dishwasher, new or old.
GLASS, LOWER TABLE AND HOOD DISHWASHER
The smallest type of machine is called a glass dishwasher and is logically intended for the same purpose. These machines are very small and take up nothing space in the bar. Typically, they use 35 × 35 or 40 × 40 cm dishwashers.
The glass dishwashers are equipped with a smaller wash / rinse pump than the larger models precisely because they only need to clean glass. It also makes these machines less suitable for washing plates and cutlery, for example.
The undercounter dishwasher is the most sold. Industrial dishwasher undercounter models use 50×50 dish trays, which are the most common tray type in the world. The external dimensions of the machine are built so that it often fits under a worktop or in a cabinet module. The tray is inserted via the front door and the tray can stand on the open door to drip off.
The hood dishwasher is also for 50 × 50 dishwashers and is typically very comparable to the underboard dishwasher. The big difference, however, is that with a hood dishwasher you can get a much better working position while washing up. The idea is to connect a table with a tap and sink in front of the dishwasher and a drying table where the dishes can be left to dry after the machine. In this way, the tray can be rinsed off> slid into the dishwasher> set for drying without having to be lifted.
FRESH WATER DISHWASHER
All the aforementioned machines are fast dishwashers / tank dishwashers, which reuse the water after each wash, but replace between 2 and 4 liters of water per. walk. Prior to the first wash, the machine fills up with several liters of water which is then heated.
Alternatives to this type are a fresh water machine, which most of all resembles the machine you have at home in the household. This machine works a little differently than the fast dishwasher.
Here the machine washes a larger amount of dishes per. time than can typically be in a 50 × 50 cm dish tray. On the other hand, a wash takes between 20-40 minutes - the advantage is that the dishes here are dry when it comes out and a little less rinsing of the service is required because the machine has a longer time to dissolve grease and dirt and does not recycle washing water.
SPECIAL (ROUGH AND TUNNEL DISHWASHER)
The tunnel dishwasher is for you with a lot of dishes. Inside the machine there are several processes, which are individually designed for your needs. A typical constellation consists of a rinsing section, washing section and drying section.
The idea is that the tray is placed on a conveyor belt at the beginning of the machine and is automatically driven through the machine to get out clean on the other side. This type of machine also uses 50 × 50 dishwashers.
The heavy dishwasher is built to handle extra stubborn dishes such as pots, pots, pans, etc. The dishwasher has an extra large rinsing pump, so the water is rinsed hard on the items.
Note that this is therefore also not suitable for, for example, washing wine glasses.
This type of machine has room for larger trays and workpieces. For example, you can wash slaughterhouse boxes of 60 × 40 cm and XL pots. In the busy kitchen, it saves a lot of time on the dishes.
WASHING TIME AND TEMPERATURES
All our dishwashers rinse at the required> 80 degrees. This is to disinfect for bacteria and required by the food authorities. The washing time varies from machine to machine, but on all fast dishwashers the washing time is between 90 seconds and 240 seconds.
Prior to this washing time, heating of the dishwasher water is required - a process that can take between 20 minutes and 45 minutes depending on the size of the heaters in the dishwasher and the temperature of the water being connected.
On machines connected to normal. Socket (230v) is the heating time when you start the machine the longest and a short heating period may be needed between each wash of 1-3 minutes for the rinsing temperature to reach 80 degrees again.
DRAIN AND DRAIN PUMP
One of the things we most often experience our customers overlook is a drain pump / drain pump. This pump MUST be used if your drain is not in the floor. If you intend for the dishwasher to be connected to a drain in the wall or up under a kitchen sink, you MUST find a machine with a drain pump in it. However, it is not an unconditional advantage to have a drain pump in a machine if you do not need it. .
The drain pump is also often one of the reasons for service visits. Many times we go fishing
toothpicks, spoons, olive stones, etc. out of the drain pumps because they have been smoked through the filter or the filter has been incorrectly mounted. If there is no drainage pump, this cannot happen. And it is faster to empty without a pump.
WASHING TRAYS
There are 35 × 35 cm, 40 × 40 cm, 50 × 50 cm and 50 × 60 cm. dishwasher. The first 2 are reserved for the glass dishwashers. The latter is for the dishwashers (which, however, can also handle 50 × 50 dish trays).
The most popular dish tray is 50 × 50 cm. the tray, which is available in several variants. Here is the neutral dishwasher, which is typically used for glasses, cups and bowls, one variant for cutlery and one for plates. In addition, there are a number of trays with different compartments for glass - so that the glasses do not collide with each other and are destroyed in the machine.
DESCALING SYSTEM
ALL industrial dishwashers should run with descaling systems. We have 3 different types of descaling, which in terms of price are different in start-up costs, but also in relation to the ongoing operating costs.
Our budget solution is called LOWcalc and is a solution that reduces but DOES NOT REMOVE limescale deposits in the machine. This solution prolongs the life of the machine by helping to deposit less lime inside the machine. On the other hand, the lime will still settle on the dishes and therefore it must be expected that the service must be polished well after washing.
Our best-selling solution is a BWT Decarbonization Plant. This partially desalinates and descales the water, so that it contains a minimum of the minerals and lime that are in the water - a solution that gives a really nice, but not perfect washing result. Expect a little bit of trimming. An AK system costs between DKK 8000-8500 in acquisition and the bottle must be regenerated / filled on an ongoing basis. A bottle change costs approx. DKK 800. The perfect descaling system is an osmosis system. Such a plant removes almost all minerals and all lime from the water. You thus do not have to wipe his glasses after they have been in the dishes - because there is nothing left in the water that can settle on your dishes. An osmosis system is expensive to purchase, but is very cheap to operate - doubling your water consumption. Such a system is often seen in places with a lot of dishes or in wine bars / more expensive restaurants where a completely immaculate washing result on the wine glasses is a must. Be aware that the water must not be drunk.
AUTOMATIC CAP LIFT
If you have a lot of dishes, you can consider investing in a dishwasher with automatic hood lift. In such a machine there is a hydraulic piston which lifts the hood when the machine has finished washing dishes. The piston also makes it easier to close the cap again.
OPENING HEIGHT / HEIGHT OF ITEMS
When choosing a machine, it is also important to consider the opening height of the machine. Fagor has machines with a relatively high opening height so you can easily get gastro trays inside the machine. The opening height is also important for large plates and tall glasses - if it is too low, these can not get into the machine or they bump into the upper washing arm.
